<image:title>Home - Working at the intersection of student wellness and teacher support. Kathryn Mikkelsen is an Educator & Wellness Specialist with experience in classroom teaching and curriculum development. She brings a grounded understanding of the real challenges educators and school leaders face when supporting student health alongside academic demands. She also holds certifications as a yoga nidra teacher and a restorative yoga teacher from The School of Living Yoga, as well as a Somatic CBT practitioner from The Embody Lab. Kathryn develops classroom resources, lesson plans, and implementation strategies designed to help schools support student wellbeing, focus, and readiness to learn in realistic, scalable ways.</image:title>
<image:caption>Rather than offering abstract or aspirational wellness advice, her work is shaped by a central question: How do we design smart, simple, trauma-informed tools that actually work during the school day?</image:caption>
